Twitter starts feeding 3rd party ads =(

I guess we knew it was coming but never wanted to see it come to fruition. Twitter is now starting to include ads on user’s feed pages and not in the feed itself, thankfully they are non-intrusive. So far, they aren’t ‘true’ ads as they are currently promoting Twitter apps like Tweetie (for the iPhone) and aren’t charging the authors. Wonder if this is Twitter’s way of testing the waters? Hopefully this will be as far as they go with the ads, however I think we’ll start to see the ads show up in our tweet feeds. (source: TechCrunch)
