CrunchGear is reporting that a lot, “if not every”, 30 GB Zune have stopped working. Nothing official has come from the Microsoft camp regarding this as of yet but this will make for a tech support nightmare going into 2009. One commenter (Jon) stated, “This is planned obsolesce at its best!”. I don’t think Microsoft is that insidious but it’s hilarous to think about. For those wondering, don’t worry, Skywalker got an 80GB Zune. Phew!
