Apple catches up to Palm, circa 199x

OMG!  Apple announced today a revolutionary feature for the iPhone/iPod Touch.  It’s called Cut and Paste.  Gasp!  I can only imagine how this will boost the productivity of users everywhere.  Alright, I’m kidding, but it’s hard not to joke about Apple’s attitude that something as basic as cut/paste wasn’t a necessary feature for the iPhone since day one.  Oh, and there was some other news about APIs, developers, blah blah blah.  MobileCrunch has a full roundup of the new features.  iPhone owners will get the 3.0 upgrade for free.  iPod Touch owners (like me) will have to shell out $10 for 3.0.  Is it worth it?  For cut and paste…Hell, yeah baby!  Okay, I’m really more excited about the landscape keyboard in applications.
