Britney on Twitter: Part 2

I wrote about Britney being on Twitter (er, her marketing team actually) a while back.  Today, TechCrunch guest writer Narendra Rocherolle comments on how this was a completely missed opportunity for the pop princess and Twitter overall.  I can’t help but agree with the points he makes.  However, this is someone who lives and breaths the technology industry.  I find it doubtful that there’s anyone of this tech savvy nature on Britney’s staff.  As such, the expectation that even a marketing firm such as hers could think of how to exploit Twitter for potential profit and gain this way is unrealisitic.  The only hope now is that someone will latch onto the business model Rocherolle is speaking about and infuse Twitter with the much needed brand recognition it deserves (e.g. Facebook).
