A somewhat surprising turn of events for unofficial movie downloads this week. The number one spot was taken by Adam Sandler’s Funny People. Interesting, considering the film was Sandler’s lowest opening ever but clearly people like him enough to watch it for nothing.
Following Funny People is The Hangover another summer film which you’d think should be farther down the list by now. Given the movies success it’s no surprise really that The Hangover is still a popular download.
Rounding out the top five are three films currently in theaters: 2012, Zombieland, and Paranormal Activity. Let me say that they’re all worth downloading, but definitely films you really have to see in a theater to truly appreciate. Hanging on in last place is Terminator Salvation but as far as I’m concerned it’s not worth the bandwidth.
