There’s not a lot of blockbusters out this week on DVD but television appears to be making up for it. Angels & Demons, starring Tom Hanks and sequel to the popular The Da Vinci Codecomes out. While I wasn’t blown away by the film it was a serviceable thriller worth watching. If comedy is more your thing then look for Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon’s Four Christmases or Adam Sandler’s Funny People.
On the TV front old school 90210 and Melrose Placefans get another set to add to their collections. Both shows are releasing their 8th and 5th seasons respectively (with Melrose Place this is Volume 2). For less melodramatic shows check out Alfred Hitchcock Presents and Law & Order: Criminal Intent.
While nothing super huge on deck this week there’s plenty of variety.
