TweetCraft was released earlier this week (or at least that’s when I found out about it) but I didn’t think much of it (mainly because I don’t play WoW). However, upon further consideration this specialized Twitter client is actually quite useful. Most online games keep you secluded from the rest of the Internet while playing. Sure, you can have peripheral IM clients running but they reside primarily outside of the virtual world itself.
TweetCraft bridges that gap, bringing you all the functionality of an IM system (which is really what Twitter is) with the added integration of services such as TwitPic, allowing you to upload screenshots of your latest kill or successful raid (no promises that either of those events or screencap worthy…McGeek can correct me accordingly).
